OPENING OF A CONDOLENCE BOOK FOLLOWING THE DEMISE OF H.E. MWAI KIBAKI, THIRD PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF KENYA
The Embassy of the Republic of Kenya in Paris wishes to inform with great sadness the demise of H.E Mwai Kibaki C.G.H., Third President of the Republic of Kenya, on Friday, 22nd April, 2022. The late President served as Head of State from 30th December, 2002 to 9th April, 2013.
In honour of the life and times of the late Former President, the Government of Kenya has announced a period of national mourning from Friday, 22nd April 2022 until the day of his burial, Friday, 29th April, 2022.
A Book of Condolence has been opened for signing at the Embassy located at 3, rue Freycinet 75116 Paris from Tuesday, 26 April 2022 to Thursday, 28 April, 2022 from10:00 hrs to 16:00 hrs. Condolence messages may also be emailed to paris@mfa.go.ke.
Officials of the Government of France, Members of the Diplomatic Community in Paris, Members of the Kenya Diaspora and all friends of Kenya are welcome to sign the Condolence Book. May President Kibaki’s Soul Rest in Eternal Peace.
