Ambassador Cherwon engages Diaspora

On the 31st of May 2024, Kenya’s Ambassador to France, Ambassador Betty Cherwon held a virtual meeting with the Kenyan Diaspora in France in conjunction with Kenyans in France Umbrella Association (KIFUA).
During the meeting, the Ambassador engaged the Diaspora in an interactive session that served as an introductory meeting to the diaspora as well as a chance to hear from them.
While giving her remarks Amb. Cherwon reiterated her commitment to serve them and echoed that the Diaspora holds a special place in Kenya’s Foreign Policy due to their immense contribution to the country’s economy and promoting national prestige. On the same note, she assured the Diaspora of her commitment to resolving the concerns raised.
