The Embassy of Kenya in France was pleased to host a delegation of industry experts, academics, and government officials led by Laikipia Governor, Hon. Joshua Irungu. The team, which included KEPSA CEO Ms. Carole Kariuki and Prof. Catherine Kunyanga, Associate Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture at the University of Nairobi, visited France to exchange best practices in agri-business. Their itinerary included visits to Rungis, Europe’s largest fresh produce market, and the CFIA (Centre des Fruits et des Industries Agroalimentaires) in Rennes, a leading industry event. The delegation shared their findings with Ambassador Betty Cherwon and the Embassy team, paving the way for future collaborations to enhance Kenya-France trade and boost Kenya’s economic growth. The visit was organized by the French Embassy in Nairobi and AFD (The French Agency for Development).
