On 19th August 2025, the Deputy Head of Mission, Amb. Jane Lusenaka represented the Embassy at the Paris 2025 Governor’s Excellence Awards, where five Kenyan Governors were awarded. The Award seeks to acknowledge Governors who have delivered transformative projects, implemented impactful policies, and fostered environmental growth and prosperity. Governors H.E. Fernandes Barasa -Kakamega County, H.E. Dr. NathifJama Adam- Garissa County, and H.E. Jeremiah Lomorukai -Turkana County were awarded. Also awarded in absentia were Governors HE. Muhammed Adan Khalif, Mandera County, and H.E. Dr. Kimani Wamatangi, Kiambu County, were awarded.
