LAUNCHING OF KENYA HOUSE
PARIS, 27 June 2024
On June 27, 2024 Principal Secretary for State Department for Culture, the Arts and Heritage , Ms. Ummi Bashir together with the Principal Secretary for the State Department for Sports Eng. Peter Tum led an Interministerial team in the unveiling of the Kenya House for the Paris Olympics 2024.
The Kenya House will host several activities including Exhibitions, a Fan zone for catching up on the Olympics action, Meet & Greet and Cultural activities.
Present during the opening ceremony were Head of Mission Amb. Betty Cherwon and Deputy Head of Mission, Amb.Kasera Achayo (DHOM). Also present were Amb. Hellen Gichuhi (State Department of Diaspora Affairs), Ms. June Chepkemei (CEO Kenya Tourism Board), Kenyan Diaspora and representatives from the Interministerial Committee on Sports.
