On June 17, 2025, Ambassador Betty Cherwon received Ms. Anne-Laure Descombin and Mr. Édouard Cointreau, founders of Agora Expo, Paris. The two sides discussed opportunities for the Mission’s participation in the upcoming Village International de la Gastronome, which will take place from 11th to 14th September 2025 in Paris. The Expo is an annual culinary festival held on the Quai Jacques Chirac, beside the Eiffel Tower, each September. It features over 100 pavilions from various countries across the globe and attracts tens of thousands of visitors over the four-day period. In attendance was the Minister Counsellor, Mr. Hussein Muhamad.
