Principal Secretary for State Department of Diaspora Affairs in Paris

Paris, October 20th 2023

The Principal Secretary for the State Department for Diaspora Affairs, Ms. Roseline Njogu arrived in Paris for a two-day working visit to engage the Kenyan Diaspora and French Government.

Speaking during the Mashujaa Day celebration, PS Roseline Njogu assured the Kenyan Diaspora in France of the Government’s support in engaging and facilitating them, to protect their rights, engaging to understand concerns, and empowering them for socio-economic development.

The Principal Secretary also informed of the upcoming Mobile Consular Services set to be rolled out in Paris in a week.  She urged Kenyans to take advantage of this opportunity by applying for the much-needed documents.


While noting the role played by the Diaspora Associations, the Principal Secretary stressed the need for unity of the Diaspora group. She further challenged the Diaspora to diversify their investment portfolio back in the country.
