MEETING WITH DIRECTOR AFRICA

The new Director for the East Africa Department at the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs, Mr. Olivier-Remy Bel paid a courtesy call on Amb. Betty Cherwon.

The two discussed matters of mutual interest between Kenya and France, including the forthcoming France-Africa Summit, which is scheduled to be hosted in Nairobi in 2026. They agreed on a collaboration to strengthen relations between the two countries.

Present at the meeting were Mrs. Cassiopée Vienne, Deputy Head of the East Africa Department, Ms. Sarah Pellerin, Kenya Desk officer, and Mr. Daniel Juma, Second Secretary.
