PRESENTATION OF CREDENTIALS

14/10/2025BY ICT

MONACO, 14th October, 2025

Kenya-Monaco relations are poised for greater heights following the presentation of credentials by H.E. Ambassador Betty Cherwon on October 14, 2025. Ambassador Cherwon presented her Letters of Credence to H.S.H. Prince Albert II at the Palais Princier de Monaco, marking a historic milestone as the first Kenyan Ambassador to do so. The ceremony solidified her accreditation as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kenya to the Principality of Monaco.

Following the presentation, Ambassador Cherwon engaged in a tête-à-tête with H.S.H. Prince Albert II and later met with the Monaco Economic Board to discuss matters of mutual interest. Kenya and Monaco share common values and visions in areas such as sports, culture, wildlife and forest conservation, and the blue economy. This new chapter of cooperation is set to enhance Kenya-Monaco relations, fostering mutual benefits for both countries and peoples.
