CERTIFICATE OF NO IMPEDIMENT TO MARRIAGE

CERTIFICATION OF DOCUMENTS

To certify the documents required for applying for a Certificate of No Impediment to Marriage, please submit the following to the Embassy.

For Kenyan Nationals

Duly filled application form >>Download
A clear copy of your Kenyan passport
15 Euros per page in cash or via Bank Transfer >>Bank Details

Other nationals

Duly filled application form >>Download
An authenticated clear copy of your Passport (authentication should be done by the issuing authorities before submitting to the Embassy of Kenya).
15 Euros per page in cash or via Bank Transfer >>Bank Details

CERTIFICAT DE COUTUME

The French authorities ask for "certificat de coutume" which does not exist in the Kenyan law. To apply for this document kindly submit the following:

Original and copy of "Certificate of no impediment to marriage", if applied through the Embassy in Paris
Copy of your passport
A copy of the invoice used for payment (if you applied the document directly from Nairobi)
15 Euros in cash or via Bank Transfer >>Bank Details

MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE/ CNIM TRANSLATION TO FRENCH ONLY

The following documents are required
